Mike Picchi, East West CFO, received the 2019 Atlanta Business Chronicle CFO of the Year Award in the Medium Private Company category on May 23, 2019. Picchi joined East West in October 2017 and has already made a tremendous impact on the company.

East West has officially launched our own branded EC motor, specifically designed for the HVAC industry. The new 1/6th HP EC motor not only offers the same impressive energy savings as other EC motors, but also provides tri-voltage (115, 208/230, 277 VAC) compatibility suited for input power systems ranging from 115-277 V, 50/60 Hz in a single motor SKU.
East West has acquired General Microcircuits, Inc. (GMI), a large provider of specialized electronics manufacturing services, including advanced printed circuit board assemblies, box-build assemblies, testing, and new product introduction services. GMI operates manufacturing facilities in Mooresville, North Carolina and San Jose, Costa Rica.
East West acquired Team Manufacturing in September 2018, allowing East West to provide their customers domestic, high-mix, low-volume, quick turn electronic manufacturing services. Located outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, Team's additional capabilities include wire and cable harness assembly, electromechanical assembly, PCBAs and box builds.
East West acquired Innovolt in November 2017. Innovolt is the nation's leader in electronic asset protection for businesses, optimizing the performance, productivity and usable life of the electronics that power today's digital world. Innovolt provides power protection and analytics capabilities to customers in the Office Equipment, Vending and ATM (Banking) industries.
