EMS Services in Vietnam
East West offers surface mount technology (SMT) capabilities through our electronics manufacturing services (EMS) division. Our complex in Vietnam has a scalable state-of-the-art lead-free facility to manufacture printed circuit boards and complete box build assemblies. Our five-building complex in Vietnam is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, and ISO 14001 certified.
Board Range
Capable of handling the smallest components available today on board sizes up to 15.75” x 8” as well as single, double-sided, and multilayer boards. We can accommodate board thickness from 0.015” to 0.165”
Scalable
We offer the flexibility to accommodate New Product Introduction (NPI), complete box builds and full production runs. This is also an ideal location for customers who are looking to ramp production from domestic or nearshore manufacturing into a facility that can handle higher volumes.
SMT Capabilities
Our engineering team provides value-added solutions for new product development including design for manufacturability and design for testability (DFM/DFT). Our lean culture enables continuous improvement efforts ensuring we provide our customers with the lowest “total cost” solution. Our Vietnam SMT factory is equipped with brand new machinery including:

Plastics Capabilities
East West Vietnam operations offer a variety of injection molding machines to meet all our customers’ needs. Our in-house tool shop is a faster way to get products into production rather than shipping tooling back and forth for modification. Our Tool Shop
East West’s Tool Shop was launched in 2013 to meet the increasing demand for customer products. We are able to provide East West’s customers with in-house tool manufacturing expertise, reduced tooling cost, and increased speed to market for production.
Located in our own facility outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the completely modern tool shop occupies 4,500 square feet. From simple single cavity to complex multiple cavity, slides, gates, and injector pin designed molds, East West has the technical skills and equipment to manufacture precision molds for our customers. The Tool Shop manufactures mechanical parts, injection mold spare parts, injection molding tools and blow molding tools.
